Terms and Conditions

Making A Wedding Booking
 
1. Booking / Reserving Your Date
 
Bookings for Weddings will only be taken for a minimum of the Bride plus Two Adults during peak season April to September. If you require further Bridal Party members to be added to the booking this can be accommodated.
 
Wedding Bookings will not be reserved until a £100.00 non-refundable retainer fee is received within 3 working days of the invoice date which will be deductible from the balance. Requested Wedding dates will not be held until the retainer fee is received.

In the event that the retainer fee has not been received within 3 working days of the invoice the date will be released and available for anyone to secure.


If you are unable to make payment within 3 working days of the invoice but would still like to secure my services please contact me ASAP to request an alternative payment date however if this new payment date is not met then the date will be released.
 
 
2. Final Payment
 
The remaining balance will be required within 3 working days of the Trial, if payment has not been received it will be taken that the Wedding Day services are no longer required.
 
Please note where the booking has been made within 6 weeks of the Wedding date I request that 100% of the payment is paid within 3 working days of the invoice.
 
 
3. Surcharges
 
For Bridal parties larger than 5 people an Assistant Makeup Artist will be required which will be included on your invoice at a charge of £80.00.
 
Travel expenses will be calculated for each appointment where I am required to travel more than 20 miles from GU34 2AG, the rate will be charged at 0.45p per mile to and from the location.
 
For Destination Weddings please contact me to discuss travel and accommodation costs.
 
 
4. Trials
 
A Trial will be arranged for around 6-12 weeks before your Wedding Day, or sooner if requested, which will take place once the £100 non-refundable retainer fee is received.

The retainer not only reserves your Wedding Day it covers the cost of the Trial.
 
If a second Trial is requested an additional cost of £80.00 will be applicable.
 
 
5. Cancellations
 
Cancellations by You:

Should you wish to cancel your booking before the retainer fee is paid no charges will be levied. If  however you cancel after the £100.00 non-refundable fee has been paid no monies will be returned.
 
 
In the event that a cancellation request has been made after the final balance has been paid the following will apply;
  
Cancellation 12 to 7 weeks prior to the Wedding = 50% of the final balance lost
 
Cancellation 6 weeks or less prior to the Wedding  = Total loss of all monies paid.

 
Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given to nicola.waters@virgin.net. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied
 
 
Cancellations By Me:
 
If the balance has not been received within 3 working days of the Trial it will be taken that the Wedding Day services are no longer required
 
In the event of extreme weather conditions, where the ‘Met office’ issues a ‘Red’ warning, there may be no choice but to cancel the booking for safety reasons, if this does occur the final balance will be refunded.
 
If severe illness prevents me from attending your Wedding I will do my utmost best to source an alternative Makeup Artist to take my place, where a replacement cannot be found the final balance will be refunded.

The £100 retainer fee will not be liable for a refund due to the cost covering the Trial service which would have already been carried out.
 
 

All Other Makeup And Beauty Services Bookings

For all other non wedding services, appointment dates will be held for 48 hours from enquiry to booking. A 50% non-refundable retainer fee will be required to secure the booking.

The remaining balance will be due on the day of the appointment.

On receipt of the retainer fee a Medical Form will be sent for completion which relates to my beauty services only, this will need to be returned ASAP.
 
If your appointment is cancelled within 72 hours and a new appointment has not been rearranged the non-refundable retainer fee will be lost.

 
The full cost of my services will automatically include travel up to 10 miles (Beauty) / 20 miles (Makeup) however any locations further than this will incur a travel expense of 0.45p per mile to and from your location.

 
The client shall inform me of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. I cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform me of any know condition.


On receipt of a Medical Form, which I will send to you on receipt of your non-refundable retainer fee, I reserve the right to refuse services to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / conditions that prevent the treatment from going ahead.

 
By Paying a Non-refundable Retainer Fee on All Wedding, Other Makeup Services and Beauty Services you are accepting these Terms and Conditions list above.
