Bookings will not be confirmed until a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is received within 3 working days of my invoice date which will be deductible from the balance, this is applicable to all services available at Nicola Louise Makeup. Requested dates will not be held until the retainer fee is received.
In the event that another enquiry has come through for the same date where the retainer has not been received within 3 working days of the invoice date the booking will be provided to the first person that pays their retainer fee, all parties concerned will be made aware of this. On receipt of the retainer fee the booking will be secured.
For weddings the remaining balance will be required on the day of the trial. Where the booking has been made within 6 weeks of the wedding date I request that100% of the payment is paid 3 working days of my invoice date so I can ensure the booking is fully confirmed and other enquiries can be turned away.
If payment cannot be made 3 working days after the invoice date please get in touch ASAP to agree an alternative payment date, however please note the requested date will not be held without payment received.
I will happily to travel to where you would like me to undertake your trial and where you will be getting ready on the day of the wedding. I cover the first 15 miles from Alton Hampshire free of charge however any journeys after the first 15 miles will be charged at 45p per mile which is for both the outward & return journey.
Cancellations by You:
Should you wish to cancel your booking before the retainer fee is paid no charges will be levied but the date will be released for others to utilise.
The 50% retainer fee paid is non-refundable, this allows me to turn away other booking enquiries. Until a retainer fee is received the requested date will be made available for anyone to book.
Cancellations after payment of the non-refundable retainer fee but prior to the remaining balance being paid will result in only the retainer fee being lost as part of my cancellation policy.
Cancellations after the booking has been paid in full will result in 100% of the booking cost being lost if the cancellation is received 6 weeks or less before your wedding date. If the cancellation is received prior to 6 weeks before the wedding only 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given to
email@example.com. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied. If you chose to send cancellation notification through the post proof of posting is not proof of receipt therefore the client is advised to check that the cancellation has been received.
Until the booking retainer fee is received, no booking, provisional or otherwise is made.
Once I confirm your booking, the date will be reserved for you.
