How Far In Advance should i booked my makeup for my wedding?


I would personally recommend booking anywhere between 12 and 18 months prior to your Wedding to ensure you can secure your Wedding date however there are times where I can accommodate last minute bookings so please do get in touch.

Do you have a minimum booking policy?

Yes I do, during the months of April to September my minimum booking is the Bride plus Two Adults. For the months of October to March the minimum is the Bride plus One Adult. Additional bridal party members can of course be added to the booking where you have more than the minimum requiring makeup.

would you recommend i have a trial?


The bridal trial is automatically included in my cost, a trial will give us the opportunity to go over which look you would like to achieve it will also give us a chance to ensure the products are best suited to your skin type. It will also allow me to see if I may need to make any adjustments for on the day itself. 

when should my trial take place and how long does it last?


I would normally recommend the trial takes place 6-12 weeks before the wedding day, the trial tends to last between 1-2 hours. During our time together we can discuss your current skincare routine and if need be I can make some recommendations to add into your routine to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition come your big day.

Do my bridesmaids need to have trial?


This is completely optional, it is not a necessity but I do have some Bridesmaids who would like a Trial so they can see how they will look on the day, the Mother of the Bride can also book a Trial if they are unsure how they would like their Makeup on the day.

do you offer bridal makeup lessons?


I do yes, if you have decided that you would like to do your own Makeup on the day and would like to learn about the techniques to use and the best products for longevity and being photographed we can spend time together planning out your perfect look where you will come away feeling confident and fully prepared. Lessons are also great if you are a destination Bride but would rather not pay for a Professional to travel out to you.

what brands of makeup do you use?


I use a variety of brands which deliver long lasting results and look beautiful on all skin types. I like to use premium brands and currently carry products from Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Giorgio Armani, Guerlain, Hourglass, Kevyn Aucoin, Laura Mercier, Shiseido and Tom Ford to name a few. Everything in my kit has been carefully selected to ensure it performs well and most importantly lasts day and night.

can i use my own makeup?


If you would feel more comfortable using your own Makeup that is absolutely fine, we will of course need to check that your products photograph well and do not cause any flashback issues. Please note that my prices will remain the same there will be no discount offered for my Professional kit not being used.

what is the maximum number of people you can do makeup for?


I can personally do Makeup for 5 people however I do have a couple of Makeup Artist contacts who are not only reliable but are highly talented who would happily come on board to assist with further bridal party members. An assistant fee of £50.00 would apply to cover the cost of the additional artist.

what are the recommended timings for the wedding party to get ready?


I like to allow for 1 hour for the Brides Makeup and 45 minutes per Bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride. I arrive 15 minutes prior to the agreed start time and ensure everyone is ready 45 minutes to 1 hour before you need to leave to allow enough time for you to get into your dresses and for everyone to relax before departing for the ceremony. My preference will be to always do the Brides Makeup second to last.

do you cater for sensitive skin?


I do carry Skincare and Makeup for those who suffer with sensitive skin, please do let me know prior to your trial if you or any bridal party members do have sensitive skin so I can ensure I pack the relevant foundations I use for sensitive skin.

what will happen if you cannot make it on my wedding day?


The only time where I would not be able to attend would be due to severe sickness in which case a replacement Makeup Artist would be sent but please feel confident that I will turn up for your Trial and Wedding Day, I pride myself on being Professional and letting people down is not something that sits lightly with me. You can 100% trust that I will turn up.

should i have my hair done before my makeup?


I do recommend hair is carried out before the Makeup as the last thing you want is to feel hot and bothered whilst your stylist is using hot appliances, we want your Makeup to be as fresh as possible prior to you leaving for your ceremony. But if you require makeup before your hair this can be accommodated with no issue at all.

do you charge a travel fee? how far do you travel?


I cover up to 30 miles from my location GU34 2AG. All travel expenses outside of the first 15 miles is to be covered by the client and will be added to the booking confirmation / invoice;

16 - 20 Miles - £15.00

21 - 30 Miles - £25.00

how do i secure my wedding date with you?


As part of my terms and conditions I ask for a £100.00 Non-Refundable Booking Fee to secure your date, this will ensure that I can turn away other enquiries for the same date. The booking fee will be deductible off the final cost. Payment will be due within 3 working days of my invoice date. The remainder of the cost will be due on the day of your trial.
