Bridal Preview
Your bridal preview is a relaxed, collaborative session where we create a look that feels right for you. We’ll talk through your wedding style, your dress, your skin, and how you want to feel on the day. This is where everything comes together — no rushing, no pressure.
On Your Wedding Day
On the morning of your wedding, my role is to bring a sense of calm and confidence. I arrive organised and prepared, allowing you to relax and enjoy the moment. Your makeup is applied with longevity and comfort in mind, so you can move, laugh, hug and celebrate without worrying about how you look.
I use professional products chosen specifically for your skin, ensuring your makeup looks beautiful in real life and in photographs — from the first look to the last dance.
Availability & Booking
Wedding dates — especially spring and summer Saturdays — can book up well in advance. I recommend enquiring as soon as you have your date confirmed.

If you love my style of makeup, I would make a booking ASAP.
I only take a limited amount weddings per year to ensure you receive the best experience. It is recommended that you secure your date as soon as you have decided that I am the right makeup artist for you.

No I do not! I want to be able to offer a Bride only experience, or smaller wedding party groups without being tied in to a minimum!

Once availability has been confirmed, at the time of booking, you will receive three bridal preview dates, so this can be scheduled and planned at the very beginning of the process.
You will then receive an invoice to make your first payment of the booking fee which is £100.00. On receipt of the booking fee, you will have secured your wedding day with Nicola Louise Makeup!

All bookings will require a bridal preview.
The preview will give us the opportunity to go over the type of look you would like to achieve. It will also give us a chance to ensure the products are best suited to your skin type.
If you re undecided on booking your wedding straightaway, a preview only appointment is available for £160.00 plus travel fees. Your wedding date will no be secured for preview only bookings.

At the time of booking, we will discuss dates and times for your bridal preview.
The recommendation would be to schedule 8 to 12 weeks before the wedding day.
The preview will take place at your location and is scheduled for 1.5 hours, during which we will discuss your current skincare routine as well as your desired makeup style for the wedding.

Ideally 5 people, including yourself.
Depending on your ceremony time the morning schedule may be able to accommodate 6 people including yourself.

The size of your bridal party will determine the start time for makeup.
For the bride, I allow 1 hour for makeup, however, if you have booked just the wedding day with no preview 1.5 hours will be allocated.
For each bridal party member, 45 minutes are allocated per person. The makeup application with lipsticks and touch-ups will be completed 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to the ceremony time.

I carry skincare and makeup for those who suffer from sensitivities.
My most trusted skincare brands for sensitive skin are French Pharmacies Bioderma and Avene. They both deliver beautiful, hydrating results to the skin while being specifically tailored for sensitivities.
Please let me know in advance of any allergies or sensitivities so I can advise if makeup is possible. In extreme cases, due to anaphylactic reactions, services may not be possible.
