Wedding Booking Process

So You Want To Book Me As Your Makeup Artist?

Hello! I am glad you have found me and started to think about booking me as your Wedding Makeup Artist, if you are unsure what the next steps are then I am here to explain what the process involves.

Getting in touch is easy most people contact me through my website contact form here. If you could please let me know your wedding date and how many people are in your bridal party requiring makeup I can firstly let you know if I am available, please note that my minimum booking policy is the bride plus two adults. I will always respond within 24 hours or sooner when your communication comes through to me I like to pride myself on being prompt and efficient.

During our conversation I will be able to outline my pricing, which is also available on my website and is available to view here, and I can talk you through when you can expect to have your Trial which is generally around 6 - 8 weeks before your Wedding Day or sooner if you would like to bring it forward.

Yes Yes I Want To Book You

If you decide you would like to go ahead and book me which I would absolutely love then the next step will be for me to send over an invoice / booking confirmation to your chosen email address. All I ask to secure your trial and wedding day is a £100 non-refundable retainer fee which would mean I can turn away other enquiries so I can exclusively focus on just your wedding for that date. The fee will be deducted off the balance and covers the cost of your trial, the remainder of the balance would be due within 3 working days after the trial.

Once you are booked you can contact me any time for tips and advice on skincare or to ask me whatever you want, you have exclusive access to me, I am here for you.

Timings of the wedding day will also be discussed at your trial so you know when to expect me to arrive and start the makeup, I will also let you know how long each individual will take so you can plan your Hairstylist and also when you want your Photographer to arrive to get those important getting ready shots which are really lovely keepsakes.

When it comes to the trial which is usually carried out on a Saturday afternoon will allow you to wear the makeup during the day and evening so you can see how it will last and most importantly if you are happy with the style of makeup. The date can be arranged to suit you even if you require a Sunday appointment instead I am more than happy to accommodate to your needs. If you have any makeup inspiration for your wedding day then please bring this along to your trial which will be carried out in the comfort of your own home or chosen location, if you do not have a look in mind do not fret as with a little direction I can create a look for you. If at any stage during or after the trial you wish to make any amendments to your look please do feel you can contact me to give feedback as I want you to be 100% comfortable with the way you look. How you feel is very important to me.

The Wedding Day

On the wedding day I will arrive 15 minutes before the makeup start time to set up, I tend to do most of the other bridal party members first then you second to last so your makeup is as fresh as it can be. During the morning you will be treated to a relaxing Eye Soothing Mask and NUGG Lip Mask to help you relax and feel pampered. My aim will be to always have everyone ready 45 minutes to 1 Hour before you need to depart for the ceremony to give you plenty of time to get into your dress, have some photos taken and time to enjoy those last moments with your bridal party.

I really look forward to hearing from you and getting you booked in.

Much love, Nicola xx
