I'm Nicola, and I help women of all ages understand their makeup, find products that work for them and learn simple techniques to create a natural, polished look they feel comfortable wearing.
Whether you're completely new to makeup or feel your usual routine no longer works for you, we'll find what works for you.

A focused makeup demonstration for anyone who would like to refresh their routine, get expert advice or learn a few new techniques.
I'll demonstrate in front of a mirror, explaining each step so you can see how to achieve a fresh, natural daytime look.
We'll focus on the areas you'd most like help with, whether that's foundation, choosing flattering colours or making your everyday makeup feel more modern.

This is a personalised, hands-on lesson where we'll work together to create a natural everyday look that suits your features, skin, colouring and lifestyle.
I'll demonstrate the techniques, then guide you as you practise them yourself. You'll have time to ask questions, try different products and understand not just what to do, but why it works.
We'll also look through your existing makeup and identify what to keep, what you might want to change and where a few carefully chosen additions could make a difference.

You'll learn how small changes to your eyes, complexion and finishing touches can transform your look without needing an entirely different makeup bag.
We'll cover:
A fresh, polished daytime look.
How to transition your makeup for the evening.
More advanced application techniques.
Eye makeup techniques and extra definition.
How to get more versatility from your existing products.
Ideal if you enjoy wearing makeup, have occasions to dress up for or simply want to expand your skills.

Makeup Lessons For Two
A joint lesson is a lovely way to learn together, whether you're a mum and daughter, sisters or friends.
You'll each receive personalised guidance, watch techniques demonstrated and have time to practise on yourselves. It's a relaxed, enjoyable experience where you can learn from each other as well as from me.
Additional person: £100
Available with the two-hour Everyday Lesson. Total lesson time is approximately 2.5–3 hours.

Hi, I'm Nicola.
I've spent the last 12 years helping women feel more confident with makeup, and one thing I've learnt is that the best makeup isn't about following rules or using the most expensive products.
It's about understanding what works for you.
Perhaps your skin has changed over time. Maybe you've never really felt confident applying makeup, or you've simply lost your way amongst all the products and advice.
Whatever your starting point, my approach is friendly, practical and personal.
I work with a range of makeup brands and price points, so recommendations are based on what suits you, not on how much something costs.
My aim is for you to leave your lesson feeling comfortable with your makeup, confident in your technique and able to recreate your look without needing someone else to do it for you.
You don't need to become someone else. You just need to discover what works for you.
What happens during your lesson?
There's no need to prepare a perfect makeup bag or know all the right questions to ask.
We'll take everything at your pace.
1. We'll talk about you.
We'll discuss your current routine, what you enjoy about makeup and anything you'd like help with.
2. We'll explore your products.
If you'd like, we'll look through your existing makeup and identify what works well for you and what could be improved.
3. I'll show you techniques that suit you.
I'll explain each step, answer your questions and help you understand which products and application methods work best for your features.
4. You'll learn how to recreate your look.
Depending on your chosen lesson, you'll watch a demonstration, practise the techniques yourself or learn how to adapt your makeup for different occasions.
5. You'll have guidance to refer back to.
I'll write down the key recommendations and techniques from your lesson so you have something to refer to afterwards.
You don't need to know anything beforehand. Just bring yourself, your questions and an open mind.

Each lesson includes travel within its specified radius of Alton, Hampshire. If you're further afield, please get in touch to discuss availability and any additional travel costs.

Not at all. I'll bring my professional kit, with a range of products and brands to explore.
If you'd like advice on your existing makeup, have a few products you're unsure about or want help deciding what to keep, you're welcome to have them ready for us to look through.

Yes! The Everyday Lesson can be arranged for two people for an additional £100, with a total session time of approximately 2.5–3 hours.
For larger groups, please contact me to discuss the arrangements.

As I am fully self-employed I am available between Monday-Saturday and generally offer appointments at 11am or 1pm.
